All in one mobile SLAM scanner.
The Stencil 2 uses a Velodyne Lidar sensor (300k points/ second, 30mm precision/range 100m), along with a feature tracking camera and internal IMU for real-time mapping and localization. The scans can then be post processed using the onboard software and viewed using a tablet, phone or PC.
The Stencil 2 has a bracket attached which you can mount a GNSS receiver (we have used Trimble R10 & R12 receivers successfully) and log continuously over WIFI using a NMEA output. The GNSS data can be included in the post processing to correct drift and improve scan matching.
There are no software licenses or ongoing subscriptions, all post processing is completed on the unit.

We have used the Stencil 2 handheld, mounted on a range pole, mounted on a vehicle, and mounted on a hand-built push cart.
